2 @ 2 | Johnson County Family Photographer

Kids will be kids, and two 2-year-olds will be two 2-year-olds.  That is what makes them cute, charming, full of life, and fun to look at.  These 2 were exactly that:  twins that had their own agenda.  My favorites of this family are all the ones where we just let the kids be kids.  We DID attempt to get a posed shot of just the little ones at the end that included bribery rewards, but they weren’t having it.  They just wanted to play around with their sweet big brother and parents and explore beautiful Ironwoods Park in the fall.  Can you blame them?  I think I came away with family portraits that show who they really are–portraits that FEEL.  And that makes me happy.

  1. Love the pics and I can totally relate to the 2 year old on their own agenda!!! Love seeing these pics of my dear friend Sherm Dog and her beautiful family!!!! xoxo

  2. Love these pictures. I like the one of Drew that is on the intro page where he is peaking at the camera between the two trees!! As always you all look so good. We need to do a big family pic……it’s been a while.

  3. These pictures are great! You have captured the true essence of a happy family. I might be prejudiced but how can you go wrong with subjects like them? Knowing them like I do Emily, you must have infinate patience to capture shots like these. Wonderfull work.

  4. I love these pictures! Beautiful family in a beautiful setting! I really like the close ups, too. You have done a great job! 🙂

  5. These pictures were great! I love the close up pictures and thought the family picture was great of everyone. Loved the setting!!!!

  6. LOVE these pictures! The candid shots turned out so great. The Elys have such a beautiful family, you truly captured this in your shots. 🙂

  7. Gorgeous as always Emily!! Of course some great subjects help! I’m a little bias to the cutie one of Momma and Abby’s shoes! Too Cute!

  8. ADORABLE pictures. These made for the cutest Christmas card. I especially love the pic of Abby’s red shoes. Such a beautiful family and that was truly captured in these portraits.
